A vote of thanks to the Members who were in charge of each table with a special one to Marge Brazda who was in charge of the Refreshment Table. A thank you to all who helped and all who came.

The Show was closed by Dave Bergman on Sunday

JUNIORS

All it takes is seeing one grown-up junior from years past to make it worthwhile. Th is is how we felt when a previous junior and his family visited the junior table at our March show. He is now a geologist. This year show table was the best ever. It started with Sheila and Dave Bergmann’s inspiration to give us more exposure. Karl Everett has been very busy passing the word along about the show to many school groups. Mary and Jim Fairchild along with Allison, Chelsea, Aaron, and David set up a game table that was very popular. Don Auler was again an invaluable resource. Barbara, Mary and Joe Sedidec had the best displays ever; they made the junior area look very scientific. Many thanks to the Fairchild family for expertly manning the sales all weekend. I wish my children were as grown up as they are. JoAnn and Vince Bischoff brought many great specimens to sell. The bones were a great hit. Bealis Giddings never fails to bring lot of great specimens for the kids. Bryan Nugent brought some great books, handouts, and fossils to distribute. Frank Pranschke donated Wyoming fish fossils. Thanks to Melissa McIntyre, Bryan Nugent, and Jeff, Peter and Ian Winsentsen for providing their expertise at the table.
