ESCONI 2005 SHOW SETUP

Show Chairperson Dave and Sheila Bergmann need your help.

Setup for the show will be Saturday morning 6:00 to 11:00.  ESCONI will not have access to the K Commons area on Friday.

Bring in your case(s) and show us what you have.  Displaying for the first time --it's not hard. What do you like the most in your collection?  Display it and you might find someone else who likes the same thing.

TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR HOBBY.  We need people and kids to show and tell us how to do things.  Do you paint, wire wrap, cut, carve rocks of any kind?  Do you pound, melt, bend, roll or mix metals.  People want to know.  Can you string beads, knit wire, glue rocks for critters, characters or intarsia.  Come demonstrate it!

HELP NEEDED.  If you only have an hour or two we still need you.  Come share, learn, enjoy with fellow rockhounds.  There are many small jobs

Skirting tables Before the show  - tape plastic skirts on table.
Silent Auction Help put out items on table and collect money.  help watch and explain

Live Auction

We need a loud voice and some one to stir the crowd to buy.  Also - someone to hold the specimen and show it to the crowd.  And - someone to hand out bid cards, write the item sold and to whom, and collect the money.
Borrowed Cases

If you have a display but no case of your own - we will have some borrowed cases.  Contact Dave if you need one.  Some one with a van and a strong back will be needed to transport the cases from storage to the show, and return to storage after the show.
Field Trip Future trips and suggestions
Publicity Take Flyers and distribute to schools, library, town or village
Silent Auction Donations We need donated low-priced material for the Silent Auction
Live Auction Donations We need donated quality material for the Live Auction.
