Mastodon Excavation
Field Trip
Join us on Friday, August 1, 2008 from 11:30 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m.
as we help Forest Preserve District of DuPage County experts uncover a local
mastodon. We will meet in the day use parking lot (by the shelter) at James
“Pate” Phillip State Park off Sterns Road just east of Illinois 25, Bartlett,
Illinois for a unique opportunity.
