Dr. Kenneth Kvamme and his archeology class from the University of Arkansas will be working with non-invasive remote sensing equipment, including GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) to help identify the 126 grave sites. There are less than 20 headstones remaining. The cemetery was established in 1845.
