The following pictures are from Whitby, which is a legendary fossil locality on the east coast of England. There are many places to collect in Whitby. It is known for ammonites, reptiles, shells, and jet, which is the fossilized wood of monkey trees. The rock formations are from the lower Jurassic age (Toarcian).
These beautiful fossils were collected by ESCONI member Marie Angkuw and were collected just a month ago in March 2020. Thanks for the contribution!
