Today, we have a real treat. It was just this past Mazon Monday where we spotlighted Diplazites unita and today we have a very nice specimen with exquisite preservation. This fossil was discovered in the Mazon River a few years ago by ESCONI member George Witaszek at the I&M Canal Corridor Mazon Creek Fossil Tour. D. unita is a fairly common fern, but the detail on this pinnule makes it a special display specimen. Congratulations George and thanks for the contribution!
