For many fossil collectors, Tully Monsters represent the holy grail of Mazon Creek fossils. But, there are other more rare and charismatic Mazon animals, like spiders and scorpions. Either of those would form the cornerstone of any collection. There are individuals out there, that don't stop at collecting just one of these, but push on to actually bag one of each for their fossil menagerie. You might remember Phil Anderson's scorpion... it was the feature of Fossil Friday #10. Now, Phil is back with a very nice spider! It even won "Fossil of the Month" for July 2021 on the Fossil Forum! The species is Architarbus rotundatus. Wow, I need to start following you around on field trips! Congratulations and thanks for the contribution!
