The last section of "A Comprehensive Guide to the Fossil Flora of Mazon Creek" is called "Possible Aquatic Plant" on Page 249. There's a couple of species of Rhacophyllum are shown. They are categorized due to traits common to aquatic plants.
Pit 11 is mostly known for the animal fossils found there, quite a few are unique to just that locality. Plant fossils are also found. Most, but not all, were washed in from the nearby terrestrial settings. A few weeks ago, we received an email from long time ESCONI member Marty Houdek with some photos of Pit 11 plants that are candidates for the aquatic plant category. They have a Rhacophyllum-type look to them and were identified as such by Andy Hay over 30 years ago. Thanks for the interesting contribution, Marty! Keep them coming!
