For this week, we have a very nice Cladodont shark tooth from the Carboniferous rocks in central Illinois. It was found by ESCONI member Jake Fill just a few weeks ago. What a sweet late winter discovery! It was a little rough when he found it, but after a little prep with his Dremel engraver and a carbide tip, he had a very nice display piece. It's hard to find nice shark teeth in Illinois! Thanks for sharing this beauty, Jake! And, nice job on the prep!
