Odontopteris subcuneata is an uncommon form that was borne on the same plant that produced Macroneuropteris scheuchzerii. It was described in 1847 by Charles James Fox Bunbury. At that time, Bunbury was Britain's leading paleobotanist. We looked at O. subcuneata back in Mazon Monday #100. Have a look for more details.
This beautiful specimen comes from ESCONI member Jeremy Zimmerman. It pretty large, with a quite a bit of detail. These rarer forms are exciting to see as they don't show up that often. Thanks for sharing, Jeremy!
