70 Years Ago - March 1955
- The Regular Meeting featured Dr. Eugene Richardson, Jr. and Dr. Robert H. Whitfield of the Chicago Natural History Museum. They were lecturing on "The Fauna and Flora of the Pennsyvalian Deposits Near Braidwood". That would have been very interesting!

- The Paleontology Meeting met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Barrick. The subject was "Index Fossils" presented by Bill Allaway.
