Giant  Mineral and Fossil Sale  December 10, from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm

Announcing a unique one day sale at the Falls of the Ohio Interpretive Center! Giant Mineral and Fossil Sale: How big is it? The entire lobby will be filled with specimens! The Gordon and Jean Unger collection of minerals, crystals, fossils, rocks, books, display cases, rock tumblers, and more have been donated to benefit the Falls.

Everything is priced well below retail value and everything MUST go! All of the income from the sale goes to the Falls of the Ohio Foundation and the State Park.

Your purchase is tax deductable up to 90% of its value. Proceeds  generated by this sale will go to the Foundation’s education fund and the Crossroads exhibit campaign.  If you are a collector or educator, this is a great opportunity to add to your collection and contribute to the Falls of the Ohio at the same time. Specimens are priced from 25 cents to $20. Fossils and minerals were collected from across North America, especially the Midwest.  This colorful collection contains a wide variety of crystals, petrified wood, fossil ferns, corals, trilobites, cut agate/lapidary rough, and shells/coral. Display cases and geology books are also included.
